Yahaya Bello deserves no commendation, says PDP

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state has been described by the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, as a colossal failure and catastrophic bad luck, who cannot point to any development project he implemented for the benefit of the people.

In a statement issued by the PDP today and signed by Richard Ihediwa, the Assistant Director (Head of Unit) Publicity of the party. The party’s publicity Secretary said Governor Yahaya Bello has done nothing to warrant commendation.

Governor Yayaha Bello has “stagnated and turned Kogi into the most backward state in the country, with to much devastation, infrastructural decay, poverty, and institutionalized hopelessness,” according to Ologbondiyan, who was in Kogi for a tour of PDP formation in the state over the weekend.

The false news being circulated by the Kogi government that he commended Governor Vahaya Bello for a road project was dismissed by the PDP spokesperson as a “hopeless lie,” saying that such “cannot even happen in their pipe dream as Vahaya Bello has done absolutely nothing to merit any form of commendation.”

“It’s truly pathetic that Vahaya Bello has resorted to fake news in his desperate search for undeserved approval on the internet. His pathetic desperation to use patriotic Nigerians in his search for undeserved endorsement has been exposed by his resort to fake news.

“I feel sorry for Yahaya Bello and advise him to stop acting so childishly and irresponsibly.” Nothing about him is commendable. Nothing! He has only brought pain, hardship, and stagnation to Kogi state, according to Ologbondiyan.

Governor Yahaya Bello was advised by Ologbondiyan to repent and use the resources of the Kogi people for their benefit, including infrastructural recovery and paying workers and pensioners whose salaries and entitlements had been wrongfully withheld for a year.

The PDP spokesman urged the people of Kogi state and Nigerians in general to continue rallying behind the party, especially as the party launches its e-registration drive in support of the collective effort to free our country from the APC’s lies, misrule, and stranglehold (APC).
