Yusuf Barnabas Bala (born 1956) was a Nigerian politician, architect, and former deputy governor of Kaduna State. He was the founder of the architectural firm Bantex consortium and the former Kaduna state chairman of the ruling political party APC.

Prior to becoming Deputy Governor, he had served the people of Kaduna State in a variety of capacities. He serfed as a delegate to the 1994 Constitutional Conference. He was chairman of the Kaura Local Government Council. Barnabas Bala was also a member of the House of Representatives for the Kaura Federal Constituency, he was a shining example of representative democracy.

We will miss his brilliance and dedication to Kaduna State, as well as his easygoing demeanor, sense of humour, and firmness in his convictions.

He went on to say that despite his failing health, Barnabas Yusuf Bala served the state zealously. The Governor added his former deputy would be properly buried. “We will work closely with his family to give a fitting farewell to a man who gave so much to this state despite being hampered by sickness.”

We consider ourselves fortunate to have known and worked with Bantex. We beseech God to grant him eternal rest and to console his wife, children, and entire family during this time of grief and loss.
